The End of a Season

It is now official! After some agonizing weeks of intense study, I have completed the 12th grade, the end of high school, with an average of 195/200 (pretty proud of myself :D).

In order to achieve that I had to undertake a series of 3 national exams (Maths, Portuguese and Geometry). Most went quite well and I had great expectations which were indeed accurate, atleast concerning Maths (an awesome 200/200) and Geometry (196/200). The classification of the Portuguese exam struck me as rather surprising since I hadn't found any major complications or difficulties during the exam. I got 143/200 but nothing to worry about since this is not one of the master subjects of Information Systems and Computer Engineering, the course I pretend to attend in University (IST Taguspark).

Oh and it is my birthday today (11th July) so I guess HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! :D

This past 2 weeks have been hard to endure without the love of my life next to me. She ran away to Holland :P Fortunately she comes back today so everything is gonna be ok :) LOVE YOU PETRA!! (L)

I'll also start having driving lessons and if everything goes according to plan I shall be driving in less than a year! I've also received a new laptop (Toshiba A300-1S9) for my Uni needs. Already setup a dual boot system (Windows Vista + Arch Linux) successfully. I may create a post entirely dedicated to that matter though!

I've been restructuring the controls (textboxes, labels and buttons) system on my game engine, trying to find a good balance between complexity and features. I've also been working on restructuring the XHTML code on the private tracker I work on in order to make it XHTML Strict compliant and allow easy theming of the pages.

Besides that, it's the same old me :P
